Most companys work on a trade system where you send in your CDI for a new programed one at a cost that is unknown to me but most at under 200 Dollars. Eddy Sanders racing out of Visila, CA is one of the better ones on the market or you could go with a Curtis sparks, or poweroll racing unit. You will find that many after-market race companys reprogram stock units. They will re-map your fuel curve, and remove if not increase the Rev- Limiter. Any time you replace your CDI you will need to re-jet accordingly. Hope this helps, if you have any further questions hit me back.
