powervalve

Well im new with the 2 stroke engines and theres no powerband on my ktm 125. Its like a 4 stroke jsut more jumpier. So i was told to check the powervalve and to clean it if its stuck.How do i do tihs? Do i need to take the header off to check it?

I will change your spark plug and check to see if there's any cracks in the exhaust.
