Hi,
I am going to get my motorcycle permit soon. How much insurance will I have to pay as soon as I get my permit. I am thinking of getting a 2002 honda cbr600, I live in Philadelphia, PA. Can you guys give me an estimate of how much it will cost for insurance when I get my permit. Also I am under 18. If there is anything else, your help is appreciated.

Thank a lot,
Andrew

technically you can get insurance on a bike without your permit. If you put liability insurance on it, maybe $300-$400 yr, full coverage with collision $2000-$3000 year, because of your age and type of bike.

Is that $300-$400 a year or a month?

So in order to ride it on the road legally, I need to pay $300- $400 a year and I will be covered right. I know I also have to pay registration and all that.

liability would probably be around $300-$400 year. If you finance a used bike, you will have to have full coverage on it though unless you got a personal loan.
