What type of works shocks could I get for a 300ex with stock a-arms? Is it worth it to get works on stock a-arms?
I ride trails and do jumps.

Works provides a great economy shock that should make you very happy for trail riding and jumping. Most of the guys here have the money to spend on pricier shocks, and most of them race, so they tend to buy Elkas, PEP, Axis, etc. But for your purposes I think Works would be great. You can buy a set of Dual Rate fronts, without rezzies, for around $300 and with rezzies for around $375. If you have the money I would get the rezzies. Just because you have stock a-arms doesn't mean you won't see great benefits with new aftermarket shocks - most people that want the extended a-arms race and they need the extra width. On the trails extended a-arms aren't always a good thing because they can sometimes make you too wide to ride a narrow trail. I say go for some dual rate Works with rezzies - you will love the ride!

ditto.. best 1000 bucks I spent...:)

Mine are on stock a-arms and the diff is day and night from stock shocks. If your going to get em get the duals with rezzies.. and that will run you fine until your rear stock one bends in half on a 60 ft jump.(long story) Then you are forced to buy the rear one for 500$ big ones.. but its worth it.. NOt to mention it turns better...
