Is stock too restrictive?

I can't ride at the local scramble area, because my exhaust is at 105 decibels. I need to get down to 95, but i dont want to buy another exhaust, kinda on a budget right now. If I throw on an old 400ex stock exhaust, will my quad run ok with it. My mods are in the sig.

The stock exhaust is very restrictive. If it has to be re-installed, modify the stock end cap. Remove the small center core, and re-install the spark arrestor.

It won't flow as well as your current pipe, but it will be legal.

you may have to rejet also....
you should notice a loss in power throughout the band, especially in the upper rpms....
