wont start

i have a 86 quadracer 250r and it wont start. i just replaced the stator and pick up coil. it has great spark and its has good gas with a good mixture. the carb was just cleaned but it still wont start. i dont know what to do becuse i have a race soon and i need to ride it before the race so i know how it handles and to see if i like riding a 2 stroke over my old 300ex and the z400 i race know.

Bad reeds?
Bad crank seals?
Low compression?

i forgot to say that i had it runnig before and i put it in gear and it stalled out cuse a miss ajusted clutch and then i started it agian and it did the same thing and now it wont start

it has great comprestion and it ran good for the min or so it as running.
