400ex's with black frames

can i get some photos of a 400ex with a black powder coated frame because i am considering getting mine done.

Heres mine when I was 3/4 of the way done... Its now all done with my new plastics and everything on, but heres how it looked then.

That engine looks striking! How old is it? How did you get it sooo freakin' spotless?

At first I couldn't figure out why that engine looked so good (aside from the cleanliness). But then I noticed the blacked out Honda lettering on the case covers. Very nice--subtle but really sets it off...

The engine is actually spraypainted... I know alot of you are thinking that it'll look like crap after a few mud puddles or rides, and yes I agree that it will look like crap (hopefully not to bad).. But at least it'll look good for the pictures:devil: But if it does start looking bad, the paint is practically same as stock so it shouldn't show to bad, but only time will tell... And we used rust-oleum black on the side cases with a paintbrush.

that engine is so clean. i love how u painted in the HONDA name on each side of the motor. real sharp

Black framed 400ex?? uhhhh HELL YES! sweet looking quad dude i am thinking about black powercoat on my frame too.

i found it strange how close these quads are.. your engine is much nicer than mine though :macho anyway, mine used to have a black subframe, but i change colors quite a bit because i like to haha. its only rustoleum but i hope it helps to give you an idea.

heres a pic of my old bike, its not PC i spray painted it, with spray paint from dollar general (not kidding) and it held up GREAT beleive it or not, i cleaned up the frame and sanded it and sprayed it, it didnt peel or crack for the 3-4 months of woods riding it saw before i sold it. only a couple small chips on the a-arms

i like those plastics. looks good
