AND Will I BE ABLE TO just have it pluged in so to speak or will i need to have valve work done and all that shnat? ANd if so what kind of work will need to be done because 440s are like expensive and im cheap and am saving for a 450 not sure which one yet?>!

In your case, I would not buy a used cylinder--too many ways for something to go wrong....

I bought a seperate cylinder for my 440. I bought my quad and it already had a 440 kit but I found a sweet deal on a rusty old 426 cylinder. I bought it for like $40 sandblasted it, sent it to GT thunder and had it bored out, new sleeve installed, hd studs and then it went to pappy for moly coating. The cylinder was being worked on for around 6 weeks so I think it was worth it being able to still ride while my motor work was being done. If you think it through though it did cost me around an extra $100.
