Yup, I have the chance to roll off the east coast and spend the better part of two weeks traveling the country, ending in California!

I know the kids are stoked, Grand canyon...Yellowstone...all the junk one would expect to see.


Looks like we will be leaving on August 4th and returning the following sunday after a few days at a private local in CA for some quad riding:D

We live in West Virginia, and this is the first time we have had such an oppertunity for the entire family to head out on the road and see the country.

I am not sure on exact travel routes....but we will be making plans to try and stop by a few places non sight-seeing related:p Id like to swing into LSR's facility, hit C&D racing etc.

Only thing we have bad down here is meth and car wrecks. Seems like every summer...Some of the seniors tend to get in wrecks and die. I hate the beginning of summer, because that's when they happen.

I live near Fort Wayne Indiana. We have Meth heads snipers and crazy Rednecks (I guess I can;t talk I live in the country too) like crazy .

It is a big let down for sure. The past week has been non stop hustle just so we could go. I even did the rent a car this morning so it was lined up, made arrangements for a friend to drive us to get it etc. Heck, the wife was in tears at just the thought of telling the kids.

I was looking forward to seeing new sights myself. Everything happens for a reason.

that would have to be one of the most memorable trips a person could have IMO! That why we have our annual riding trip so we can meet up with other riders from other places all over the US. Ive catered to riders that needed a place to crash ,and I would more than be willing to give the Hill family a place to stay as well. :) I know my kids would have a blast riding with the Boys!

My employer was a bit disappointed I canceled the trip, but he knows thats the way I am, I have never let him down in 16 years and even though the business is all but sold, I see no reason to change my ways:p

He did tell me that I would be taken care of when the business is sold, that was a years salary the last time we chatted, so just maybe....once the sale is completed I will have the time and money to take a month and do this.
