I was wondering if its ok to store a quad upright on ist grabar so I could have more room:D

Drain the gas and oil then you're fine.

For transporting it to go ride, it is OK, just let it sit for a few mniutes so all the oil seeps back into the crankcase. It's probably not a good idea for long term storage unless you drain your oil.

my friend used to do it all the time when they were going riding, they would keep there blaster in the air and there breeze on the back of the pickup bed so i guess it is ok.
