guitar guys i need help

ok well i want to tune my guitar to this kind of tuning-

can any body help me? im pretty sure i can tune my sixth string to drop D, but i donn how to change my third string from G to A.

Buy a tuner for like 10-15 bucks and it shows you whats what.

i have one but i donno how to tune to anything but standard tuning with it. i think drop D is u tune the 6th string to make the seventh fret sound like the fourth string.

sup dude. u trying to get it in tune to play Korn's songs? i remember you tellin me they played out of tune, and u needed to tune ur's to that. or something like that. but anyways where u been this week man i been tryin to get up with ya. austin bought a pitbike.

they dont play out of tune they just dont play in standard tunin. But im playin hinder not koRn. ive been here all week and at my paw paws new house workin in the yard.

oh.... well f*ck u must sleep all day when ur not workin over there..... i called a buncha times to see if i could come buy that oil and filter from you or kevin or w/e. but no one would answer. but yea we got like 2 weeks of summer left we need to go ride. yeah, to do that tuning, make the 7th fret of the sixth string the same as the open 5th string, and then make the 7th fret of the 4th string equal to the open 3rd string. how long have you been playing guitar for?

i havent even been playing for a whole year yet. im good with chords and strumming and power chords all that rythem stuff. right now im starting to learn scales and trying to build speed.

ok so i found out that tuning is tuned a half step down from standard tuning so how do i do that?

fender stratocaster. can u help me with the tuning?

i tune by ear and sumtimes when im really off i got a korg chromatic tuner thats what you need there like 40 bhucks worth every penny

ook dude it's easy

drop d is 7th fret on the low e string tuned to the a string
that puts you here
e

g
d
a
d

now, the g to a, there are 2 ways of doing it, doesnt matter which but
tune the g string to match the d string on the 7th fret... or

the g string on the 2nd fret, to the b string
