We are wanting to get your all opinions on whether or not you think anyone would be interested in our box van we converted over to our toy hauler.
It has a section of living quarters with a mini fridge, microwave, t.v., cabinets, and 2 beds. There is a wall that seperates the living and the hauling sections so that the fumes dont bother ya while driving and sleeping.
We converted this thing from a box van to toy hauler over this past summer. We are wanting something a tad bigger so wasnt sure if I should part with it or not.
So we thought we would post this and see what ya all thought. Do you think anyone would be interested?
I can post pics of the inside soon. These pics of the outside of it were allready stored on the computer.....

personally...if i had something like that i would keep it. if u r going to sell it i have a RAGEN' and its awesome because it has the two automatic queen beds that come down in 30 seconds... but thats an awesome idea that you guys converted that!

Well we wanted something that we didnt have to haul, that we could drive. My daughter watches tv, plays the playstation, and so on while we are driving. Plus you can sleep, cook something, and move around in comfort while driving.
We liked the idea of the whole box van thing, and spent alot of time converting it over. But we added a few more quads to the family and now dont has as much room hauling as we would have liked.
But selling it is an idea.

is there a party deck on the roof?

No, it has a lightweight fiberglass roof to let the light in. ( I wish though)

well not wanting to haul reallllly slims your options... i mean i dont know how much money you could get off of that or how much your willing to spend, but the only thing i can think of for you is a motorhome toy hauler.

like this for instance

i think its called a Enduramax toy hauler...and this one is a 2005. just and idea

I have seen several toy haulers that do have the party decks... pretty cool if you park close enough to the track and sit up there and watch the whole thing.

Does anyone think asking for $5,000 is too much for it? I know we have more than that invested in it....
Maybe seeing the pics of the inside will help with this question.. I'll post some tomm.

That thing is pretty cool.
What year is it? How many miles? Post some pictures of the inside and we can see how much it worth.

Some better photos and a brief description of mileage, year, make, fuel type would help us to further narrow down an expected price for you.

Ok I went and took some pics of the living area. I couldnt take any of the hauling part cause the hubby was working on the quad back there and he didnt want to be in the pic... so I'll do that at a later time.

here is a view of it as you open the camper door that we installed in it.

this is the couch that is in there. It makes out into a bed. The back wall behind the couch is what seperates the 2 sections. We didnt want tthe smell of gas in the front. There is an air conditioner in that wall as well so it stays nice and cool.

Here is a pic of the driver and passenger seats. There is a bunk above all that and the T.V. and playstation sits in the corner of the bunk.

Storage...

the van is a 89 and it does have high mileage...200,000..which was a shocker for me. But we bought it from a guy who used it for his business...So I do know that most of the mileage is highway.
So does the pics so far help in any way? Since I found out it had such high mileage should we just keep it and install a new motor first. There isnt anything wrong with the motor though... what ya' all think?

yea we thought about that. But it kinda defeats the purpose, ya know. Another thing we were kinda missing out on was that we dont have enough room for a shower and toilet for those long weekends.

$5000 sounds like a good deal. How many does it sleep?

That sounds like a very fair price for it.You obviously put alot of work into it and it looks to be in nice shape.

Yea, I'll get the pics of the garage part of it hopefully tonight. The couch/bed sleeps 2 and the top bunk will sleep another 2. So I'd say a family for four. It was the perfect size for us since we only have 3. Oh plus 2 lil dogs sleep in their crates in there.....So I have to say a family of 6...lol
The more I think about it we might just put a new motor in it and keep it and haul an open trailer for the quads and put more storage in the garage part. But then again I would love something with a shower......I just cant seem to decide.
