What is that little pink tube under my airbox for? Can I take it out, will it hurt anything?

i have been told its for in case water fills up in it you can take it off and drain the water out.

I dunno why i would want my airbox to fill up with water.

I guess that tube could be to catch water, but it also primarily catches dust/sand/dirt etc. Each time you ride, just reach down and dump it out. You can also use it as a judge to see just how much sh*t is getting in your airbox.

It catches the mud/ water that you get into your box, but i took mine off cause if water does get into it I would want it to drain out immediately.

bad idea. then water can get sprayed into it from the tires. just check it every little while to make sure theres no water

i drill lots of tiny holes in mine...lets the water out, but don't allow it to splash up in...it will however, flow in if you are in water that deep
