un hook it from the carb....then you can either take the pet. off and the gas cap off (so it gets air) or flip it over and do it that way

Simplest way is to open the drain screw on the float bowl.

yes,but if u open carb screw if there is any debris in tank it will go right into carb:confused:

The petcock's inlet tubes have screens that filter all but the smallest of particles. Nonetheless, if debris is a concern then disconecting the fuel line from the carb or petcock and then draining from the petcock would avoid running the gas through the float bowl. Plus it's much faster--it takes forever to drain a tank through the float bowl drain.
