i dont mean to steal your post but if you put a x6 instead of an x 4 will there be any difference? becuase on there website it says an x 4 is for engines displacing 250-345cc and the x 6 is designed for engines displacing 386-425cc what would the difference be?
Well, y would you wont the x6 if you have an 330 the x4 will work better for your motor size since it is designed for it?

well then if the x-6 is only for motors pumping out 386-425cc , then would it be a waste to get an x-6 system for my 440EX?

From CS website:
Sparks Racing offers three different exhausts for your 300EX / 250X .
--The X-4 is designed for engines displacing 250-345cc.
--The X-5 is designed for engines displacing 346-385cc.
--The X-6 is designed for engines displacing 386-425cc.
None of that has anything to do with the 400EX pipes. The 400EX X-4 and X-6 are completely different pipes.

I'm going to have to say that is a prime example of misinformation........the X-6 is one of best pipes for a modded 400EX. But to each their own. ;)

ya that is for the 250/300ex section. in the 400ex section the diff between the x-4 and x-6 is that the x-4 gives u slightly more bottom end and the x-6 gives u slightly more top end. why would sparks sell the x-6 with their 465 Pure Power kit for the 400ex if it was only for engines up to 425cc?

Yes, you definatly want an X-6 for the 440. x-4 is designed for the stock 400ex. The x-6 is perfect for the 440ex.
