they are awsome, tuning is NOT a problem, the motor will run great for at least 3 gallons of fuel.which is really a long time. just break it in correctly and you have no worries

ok I will shed some light on this seeming how everyone has there own oppinion on this. I work at a hobby shop and have been racing r/c cars all over ny since I was 9 and i'm 16 now. I'm the local go to guy at the shop for car info. The ffx 700 shown there isn't a bad truck, its a hpi savage with a fourwheeler body. There are better trucks for the money in my oppinion but the hpi savage is great for bashing. Proline racing also makes a atv body that will fit most monster trucks. The only down side to a nitro vehicle is if you don't know how to tune it, it will never make you happy. The other is that you have to try to keep them somewhat clean, for example brushing the dirt off of them after driving them so it doesn't begin to get in ruin the various bearings throughtout the truck. You also have to try to clean the mud off and dry them if you completely soak them if you get them wet so that nothin rusts. Over all if you have the time and patience they can be fun. The hpi savage kfx shown in the video isn't a bad truck. If anyone on here has any other questions on nitro cars or electric cars I will probably be able to answer them.

is there anything with the same platform as the Jato that will run along side it? 2WD statium truck that will hang with the Jato for about the same price ( <$400)
