Sup fella's i gave up on that aftermarket ignition, so we threw the stock one back in , but we have no spark. I've triple checked all the wires. There all connected corrosion free, no rips tears burns kinks nothing. I've multimetered the system its all good all the wires, coil and plug wire. The CDI is good i guess it works in my old 86 when we swapped it over.

Idk what the hell else to check. stator and everything worked fine we well took it all off now its doin this. Anyway when i kick her over the tail light, lights up which is a good thing so i assume the headlights and tail lights are gettin power but not the spark plug what gives. Anyone got any idea on where i should start

Cliff notes: No spark but when kicked overf the tail light lights up. Where should i start looking?

Test the exciter coil. It's part of the stator but on a different circuit than the lighting coil.

check the gapping of your plug. it should spark even if the gap is a little too large, but sometimes it won't. i would always check that before anything else, especially if its a new plug.

Its not the coil and the gap is good.

Make sure you have a good ground between the frame and motor. Strip the paint off one of the motor mount so you have bare metal to meta.l

Bad pulse generator?
Bad engine stop switch?
