I need some help. 95 Timberwolf 250 2WD. No matter how many times I adjust the idle speed adjustment it seems to always change. It will be perfect then after one rev of the engine it is super high, sometimes dropping back down to where it should be but not always. Should I be concerned or just leave it alone. Im not sure when the last time it was torn apart or what details it has inside, it was bought used.
Thanks

First thing I'd check for is an air leak somewhere in the intake. Air leaks are often responsible for erratic idling. Once that's been eliminated as a possible cause I'd move on the the pilot circuit. Lean pilot circuits can cause a "hanging" idle condition.

your throttle cable might be kinked
