I'm looking at an HMF Ballance Series carbon fiber full exhaust system. Will this give me as much horsepower and torque throughout the range as the HMF Sport Series would? And does that TRM (Torque Range Modifier) make any difference?

Yes, but it's barely noticable. I say get the Curtis Sparks Big Core.

i think the torque range modifier takes away a little high rpm power if i am not mistaken. cant you take that out and run it open like a sport series? maybe not, who knows.

if it was me i would just call and ask.

Yeah.. i've got the HMF BB Carbon full system and the TRM seems to take away some power. It seems as if it doesnt want to rev out as fast or something. I took mine out because it just seems to hit harder with it out. What it is supposed to do is smooth out the torque curve so that its not peaky, which causes you to get more traction. Its made for woods riders. If your not going to race XC or constantly in the woods.. i'd just go with the sport series and save a little money. The Pipe added alot on bottom and mid and revs out nicely though. :macho
