What Are good things to use as fillers when you build dirt jumps?? I may haqve access to big drain tiles but I dont know if they would crush under pressure

Chevy pickups or round hay bales work realy well.

wouldn't tires work? just go to the junkyard and pick up a bunch of them...or logs

drain tile workds great, most MX tracks have a jump witha tile under it so people can walk under it to the center of the track. but Cars do work well, so do logs, brick, rock, ect...

If the jump is going to stay put for a long time, dont use logs or hay. They will start to decompose eventually and fall apart, making the jump useless.

I use pretty much anything i can. concrete, logs, leaves, extra wood we have laying around. Wood chips work, but you want to cover it with dirt becuase its wierd to land on woodchips. but it's still a lot of digging for one person:chinese:

we got a gazillion lock blocks (concrete legos) at work, if i had property i could have a shiet load of those. they would make a mean jump.

Hay bales wouldn't work for very long. They will break down eventually.

I heard bigbadbrad would work well for a filler. Goes along with that bodies idea.

Logs seem to work pretty well along with anything big like that.

nope i would not make a good filler, i would move to much an dthe jump would colapse.

i just use rocks, logs, anything i can find to fill it.

one of my jumps had a **** load of bricks in it, and its holding up fine.

yup yup... thats the "gooder" way..
dont use things thatll decompose or will trap water.. that junk creates health hazards(mosquito breeding grounds) if nothing else..

Clay works well to put over the dirt also... i prefer to use crack rock tho because if i face plant atleast its worth it.

Not a good idea...especially if the screen is facing upwards. If it's a tube TV that uses a vacuum then the screen explodes sending glass upwards when it's rode over. Hippies used to use them as underground bombs for trail riders.

Which 450?
