loooking to trade a clean 02 400ex with mods for a banshee

it depends on wut kind of ridding u do banshees are made to be wide open a lot not a good trail bike. but if you do trails and some pits and stuff like that i would stick with the reliable 400ex.:D

Banshee is a good dunes ride, or TT bike. Strictly wide open stuff.

IF you keep it pinned, 80% of the time, get a Banshee.

Nobody uses them for trails or even MX.

If you gotta have a 2 smoke, get the old 85-89 250R.

I think aftermarket guys are still selling parts for them.

Kim Kuhnle used to run GNCC XC with it, and Doug Eichner used to run one GNC MX.

Lemme say it this way....

Nobody WINS XC or MX with one.

Hope you're getting it WITH pipes, carb mods, etc. Cuz on them things, you get to do all your mods TWICE.
