i have a 2003 400ex and it wont start. when i press the starter it just clicks once. i kno that its not the battery. if anyone else had this problem or know what to do let me kno

yup its ur battery. u can jump start it or charge it.

how do u know it's not the battery? is it getting a charge? and what about the starter and wiring harness

the battery does hold a charge because its starts up every now and then plus it started my kingquad 700. i cleaned all the terminals and charged the battery but it still does it

try checking the connection...wiggle the wire and press the button and see if it turns over. If it is I have some oversized cables I would sell

Mine did the same thing out on the trail. Sometimes it would start, and other times it wouldnt. I tried charging it several times, thinking it was the cylinoid, cuz it would make a clicking noise. Turns out that it was the battery after all. I put a new one in (that I bought from Wal*Mart cuz they're cheaper) and it started right up, and havent had a problem since.

yea thats exactly what its doing. i guess ill get a new battery
