Exactly, and its not going to be that way any longer. Ive tried posting some threads in there and its plain ludicrous. This is not the way it will be from now on.

Over at YFZCentral they are doing a lot of cleaning up too, even banned a member that was very well known there for a very big slip up he made. I'm glad that the clean up is being made, all the immature posts being made and basic online chatting between people in threads made me find a different site.

I'll also admit that I love a good heated DISCUSSION , but some people don't seem to understand the difference between an discussion and a full fledged arguement . Name calling and bringing up someone's family shouldn't be part of a good discussion .

His nickname was J-Rod, his account name was WalshYFZ or something similar to that. We have been as the need arose, some have returned and been posting all along, others are still hiding under new names. Even more got booted and spend all their spare time doing every thing they can to trash the site. It is a never ending deal.

If we would have banned every member that we are asked to, there wouldnt be some folks here that feel they are more beneficial then those they are complaining about:scary: Its easy to say a group sucks and then leave, maybe some assistance in the matter would bring about faster change. This site is for everyone, not any one particuliar group. This site isn't the only one hit by problems...Kawieriders had a group on there that pretty much ran the show...the admin bowed down to them. Chased off a lot of good core members who posted good tech information. I see several of your problem members went to ******** and got banned there too...

Good to see you guys cleaning this site up, maybe a few of the core tech guys that left Kawieriders will come over here. I spent a while looking around here...your site is looking good.

its good to see that you guys are gonna clean up the site. i've never posted much but i've been on here for a couple years now (i think) and it gets really annoying when you get the post whore noobs who call everyone else noobs and bash on them because they dont have 1000 posts in 2 months and not one post that means anything.

i liked how the site used to be. i was on here all the time and then i watched the old H-Bomb forums go down slowly after guetters left then after so long the forum was "shut down" but a few of us still knew how to get in and then it was fun again. then this forum started to go downhill but luckily guetters had the akraix forum going and the "hidden" h-bomb forum still had about 20 active members.

it seems like lately all forums have just been going downhill. its nice to see that theres a lot more interest in the sport but it is getting out of hand. cant wait to see what the site ends up like in a month or two after you get a little cleanup done.

Reporting to moderators of some of the trouble makers is SUCH a HUGE help guys/gals. I know we all do appreciate it. Maybe some of those who complain about things could also help out in that area, I know some of the members who report topics...also contribute to the same thing they are reporting in another topic:huh :o

There is ALOT of traffic daily, the mods have alot of ground to cover and DO depend on YOU the members to help stop the BS.

This is EVERYONES site and we ALL need to try and keep it unpolluted! Harlen and all those who bring you Coverage and the latest UP TO DATE work hard so that everyone else can share it.

To me, its pretty cut and dry.... You know the rules... You read them when you sign up on the site...Why should there be several chances anyhow? I personally dont like to ban a member ,but I have NO problem doing it if need be .

Thanks for doing this Pappy! Has made my experience here at ATV RIders much more enjoyable. I stopped reading a few months ago due to the stupidity and fighting on this site. It was hard to get an answer, and most of the threads in the Open forum were nonsense. Coming back and seeing that the site has been cleaned up has made me much happier. Thanks again. We are not planning on any more additions to the mod squad. if the majority of the site just acts like one would expect on an atv site there wouldnt be need for any mods on any site. Those that cant act decent will be escorted and a boot placed in thier ***. Ive even had a few companies contact me wanting the real names of some people so they would be sure NOT to sponsor them, so people are watching how some folks act and it does have monetary consequences.

I honestly get sick of booting people that just dont get it, If they are acting like a retard, maybe they are and deserve a slobber bib and an escort outta here. Spammers, adults on a venting spree, teenage morons that havent figured out its more fun to actually ride then bash those that do, companies and websites that are so starved for members or business they resort to spamming....all crap and dont need to be here.

We have 1 goal, take care of OUR site. We do not care what other sites do, we dont care who has the biggest weiner, hell we dont care about anything that does not have something to add to THIS site. It is a very basic management position, live and let live but do it in a respectable manner. If you disrespect the mods, the admin or the site in general, we will give you the same courtesy you would be afforded if you were acting like that in person in our home or business. So if you break one of the rules and get banned, go cry to your momma because there are no sympathetic ears here.

Moderators dont get pd for this ,they take time out of there own free time(or what little we have ) to help out becuase they CARE about the site and what we have !!

Thanks Pappy, I applaud the mods efforts in cleaning up the site. I get tired of reading what starts out as a good post and look forward to actually gaining some useful information before some idiot jumps in and ruins things. Hopefully the bad apples can be weeded out!!

I found this site last year in the fall it was soo awesome but after winter i kinda got to work in school and didnt come on here till the end of school. Now i come on and i cant find a post without flamers or someone bashing someone elses quads. i mean people are fighting over wether a pipe and k&n filter will change your top speed. personaly i could care less about why others think their quad is better or why others think they are better or can look down upon people. hopefully this cleanup will keep the site going smoothly.

I know it was a jole, and it does not bother me in the least..... my point was that the mods have to be firm accross the boards for the people on here to respect their wishes. Mods can't be everywhere, and they shouldn't have to be, but for that to happen then we as the ones that truly value this site need to uphold their wishes. For there to be a thread started about cleaning the site up, and then someone makes a post of a pic with profanity... it may be funny, but it is desrespectful to the ones really trying to make a difference.
