Air Filter ?????

Ihave an 06 450er and am installing an HRC header w/ factory tailpipe. I need some input .Pro design/ProFlow K&N kit or just the K&N. Is the adapter really worth it? I will be jetting w/ the lid off. Thanks for the advice.

I've got an 06 and I'm also using the Prodesign with the K& n. I think it's well spent money. It allows you to remove that factory restricitve screen. It also provides a secure lip to tighten down the clamp on. If you going to run a high flow filter then attach it to something secure like the Prodesign intake.

I have the same K&N setup and pulled the adapter months ago-it has never fallen off and seals up fine. Actually, I have the K&N up for sale in the parts section because I am going back to the foamy! i have a mod quad restricter and k&n filter.i think it's well worth it.throw on a full exhaust and see the power it gives u.
