White Rock mountain trail system north of Ozark Arkansas is the most norwestern Ar trails I know of. South of Fayettville about 40miles on highway 16,then right on 23 near the small town of Cass. There is some National Forest in southwest Missouri u oughta check on.

For Cassville, you are supposed to have a flag, an orange triangle(slow moving vehicle), and a permit. The permit can be bought outside of Cassville at a place called Sportsman's Corner. I only have the permit and have not had any problems riding there....they mainly just want their money. It's only $10 and that's for the life of your quad. There are a lot of trails there and for the most part, they are not too rough. The bad thing is they are logging in there now and have widened several trails the width of a two lane highway.

That is the area I ride at when I go down there. We stay at Birds Adventure camp ground, typically. I have not been down there in about 6 months but want to get back down there sometime soon. There is sooo much riding in that area it is crazy. Riding there is the reason I bought a GPS. Make post teh next time you head there I will see if I can clear some time.

I could not make it this this weekend even if you were for sure going. I need at least 5 days notice to rearrange my schedual. new job and all not quite as flexable as the old one was. my new boss does not ride my old one did. We took days off just to go riding. Anyhow give me some heads up before you plan on going and I will see if I can arrange for the time to go.

Anyone put any thought into Chadwick on Sunday 3-16? I may try to head down there for a few hours in the morning. Suposed to rain Thursday -Saturday but the weather changes so frequently its not funny. Anyhow if it rains there will be lots of mud. I have not been able to get out to ride in a few months and am wanting to get out there soon. If anyone has any other suggestions post them I am all ears.

I hate to say not me cause I always want to ride, but I am not much of a track rider. Air makes me nervous. Could be I am gravity challenged and all. I do not mind getting a little air time but long jumps make me a total nervous wreck. Could also be the fact that I have not ever done it much, so the thought is just unsettling and by doing it I could overcome the apprehension I associate with jumping.
