I am looking at getting a new chain. What kind would ya'll get i currently ran a Renthal it seemed good but is the DID's any better or do the last longer?

I have good luck with the DID Gold ATV chain.

IMHO primary drive chains will be the best bang for your buck. You can get a chain that is just as strong as the high priced brand name chains for half the price. I have changed out my primary drive chains after 12months of abuse and realized that they really didn't even need to be replaced.

I put a PD 520ORH X-ring on my CR250. I don't have many miles on it but it seems like a decent chain for the money (~$60). My XR650R gets nothing but the best as far as chains go--DIDERV3.

DID, Regina, and RK all make quality chains. Any one of those will serve you well. I don't have any experience with Renthal chains so I can't comment there. But no matter what chain you get--regular maintenance will be the biggest factor in longevity for a low-HP off road application.
