ok. i think my compression rings are out. when ur running wide open and let off the gas it smokes a little. thats the only time it smokes. and it drinks oil so i have to keep checking it. what i was wondering was when u replace the rings do u have to get a new piston 2? thank you.

i would and i would maybe even bore it to 426 if you have the money. youy already going to be in the motor when you put the new rings in why not get the new piston.
