Better than stock.

My friends have them and they take one hell of a beating.

to me... worse then stock... i'd have to say stock is one of the strong rims... unless it has a rolled edge or a bead lock or a re enforced ring... there no good... i'd get the douglas yellow label

if you race MX or XC i would get them... i've bent 3 sets of red labels on a MX track... just by the presure of jumping... no wreks

Well a friend of mine was going to give me a pair of 8" for the rears...but I guess I will just keep my stock rims and get some 18's...

like someone already said. Stock is stronger than the red lables.

Stock is defantly stronger then the .190's I have .190s on mine right now because of my tire change and are bent in about 3 places on the rear inside of the rim. They aren't bad enough that it is noticeable while riding and they still hold air but I do not know how much longer they will last me.

make sure if you order 18 inch tires and use stock rims, you need to order a 18x10x9 tires.

stock rims are stronger then douglas .190s, but you can flintstone all of them:p

If you don't want to pay for bead locks, ITP Bajas are pretty good. I have a set, and I've ridden a couple rounds of WORCS and some hard trail riding, and they have held up very well. They have rolled edges and re-enforcing rings on both sides. Good wheels for the money.
