well 2 months ago I replaced the starter solenid/relay on my bro's qua. perfect no problems until the other day. went out riding took a break and it was stone cold dead. put on jumper cables starts up like a champ an headlight stays on everything is cool. am I over thinking this and its just the battery? how many volts should I have at the battery when its running? I just want to be sure its the battery and not a charging problem thanks

When charging you should have between 13v-14v.

Sounds like the battery just isn't holding a charge anymore. You can only run the battery dead on atv's a couple times before the battery is completely shot.
