450R question

im lookin at 450Rs and i want to know what year is the best. like what problems and such. im not too concerned about power cause im sure they are all fast enough. i just want a good reliable year.

06 or 07 would be your best bet, heard of no problems thus far, i have an 05, and i have had no problems, but heard of crank bearing problems, but your safe with the 06/07

05 had some problems, The only problem I have heard with the new models is the starter. They have a upgrade for them though. Other then that I havn't heard anything

i would like an 06 but i want a kickstart and they seem harder to find. i really dont like electric start.

crank bearing failures, about 15-20 cases on exriders, ive never had a problem with mine, but some did

The crank bearing problem was with late model 04s and early model 05's. If you buy an 05 now I really doubt it would have the same bearings.

the 06's have alot of trans problems And some people with the er are breaking the starter clutch spring.
