CRF or YZF 250 HP?

How many horses do these motors put out in stock trim and modified. Iv'e been interested in using one of these motors for a hybrid.

they are both great motor the yzf will be a little quicker reving cuse dohc but the honda is a honda and they a re fast too.

They are probably close to 34-36.

From what I've seen, around 30hp stock. Add a couple hp with exhaust mods and basic tuning. Depending on which engine, year, and mods you might be pushing 35. But, they're already in a very high state of tune so I'd guess it'd take a piston and/or head work plus some know-how to get to/over 35hp [shrug].
