anyone know if you can take off stock 400 grips and put them on new bars or should I buy new grips and glue?

Buy new grips, it would be more trouble than its worth. Stock grips are usually pretty hard anyways, go with a good aftermarket set.

New grips and glue are generally inexspensive and easy to install.

I paid like 8$ for my Scott grips and they feel good IMO.

I didn't even use glue and they are nice and tight. Just make sure everything is dry when you install them. Glue wouldn't hurt anything.

the best grips out there are stock 450r waffle grips. they are cheap, thin, and alot of pro's are running them. for glue the best kept secret it 3d weather stripping adhiesve. a tube will run you about 12 bucks at home depot but it will be the last tube you ever buy.
