you have a bunch of dirt jammed in there, loosen the axle jam and remove the axle. tap out the carrier from the swingarm and clean both surfaces. also replace the o rings on either end of the carrier. or just pound the hell out of it till it spins, your choice.

I had a problem the other day tightening my chain, it wouldn't turn any further. I found that the little screw that holds the caliper mount from moving needed to be loosened to alllow the carrier to rotate further.

well, I bought my quad used and ended up BREAKING the carrier while trying to adjust it...since it wouldn't turn very well.

Turns out that the previous owner had used bolts for the swinger plate that were just a little too long. They had gone right into the carrier!

So, loosen up the rear bolts on your swinger plate if you have one and then try it.

Axle jam nut is the side of teh carrier opposite the rear brake disc.

It tightens the axle in the carrier.

You need a honking big wrench, usually.

I too would guess you got lots of crud in there.

Only thing is that I moved the bearing carrier about a month ago and only rode twice afterward so I dont know how it got that jammed that quickly.

DId you ride her hard, and put her up wet?

Hit any thing with your swingarm?

Sounds like something happened recently to jam it up.

Could try heating the part of the swingarm that holds the carrier to try to break it free.

In my experience, you just gotta work and work and work with it, and eventually it'll break free.

I did ride through the deep mud when I went out so it may be full of dirt.
