Well they aren't indestructible. What did you do hit a triple "5th gear pinned" and not make it.

It's your Baja's that broke not the pro-locks. They seem fine.

The Baha's you are refering too.. are the inside lip of the pro-locks.

Outer beadlock, inner reinforcing ring.

Uhhhh, what about the holeshots?

I ran about 10 psi in Razr 2's on Bajas, and never had an issue with bending them like that....

BUT, one side did have slightly loose lug nuts, and it DEMOLISHED the holes, seems like the material is a little soft.

Now?...its all about dual beadlock Hipers :D

any body can screw up a wheel " ANY" kind of wheel I have seen every wheel bend like that and I seen others break. Take care of your stuff and things like that will not happen.

I have used my ITP wheels for year with out any proublems.

When you say take care of your stuff adn that wont happen...What could he have done to cause that to not happen?
Maybe he didnt have enough air pressure....But I dont think there is much more he could have done, but clear the jump to prevent that.

I agree! I was thinking of getting some also. I just like the black wheels with the gold bolts, But I think I will get the Douglass also now! Do any Pro teams run these ITP beadlocks? Never really noticed?

Jeremiah Jones won 5 MX titles using ITP wheels, Jeremy Schell won 4 MX tirles using ITP wheels, Travis Spader, Willam Yokley, IMS racing,

The right air pressure will help but the biggest thing is NOT TO CRASH

I guess i should post pic of other rims that I have that are bent then what will buy, My point some people can bend any rims break any part of a Atv, you dont see the nascar car guys crash and brake something and say well we will never use that agian.

yea but do you think that they are using the same wheels the whole season? yea right! they probably dont even use the same ones for a whole race weekend. and besides nascar racers and most pros are runnign prototype equipment and get things handed to them for testing.

Why do rims always bend on the inside? I have a set of t 9's and I always get bends on the inside of the rim but not on the outside. Is something flexing to cause this?

Leverage ratio.

The inside of the rim is closer to the center of gravity.. so when you smack something big the rim will be forced to soak up the impact.

Hitting the outer rim has a higher leverage ratio and will be a lot more prone to toss the side up (bounce) or shift sideways than absorb it into the metal.

Kind of a bad explanation.. but it's just your basic properties of a lever.
