I just put in a 135 main jet for it because it was running way too lean(to the point i could crank it and rev it up 2 or 3 times and the exhuast would burn a piece f paper), well it is still running lean I think but the plug isn't too bad. But my header pipe is changing colors and now half my header pipe is a bluish/purplish/brownish color. I talked to somebody about the pipe chaning colors adnhe said that it's just from heat and any pipe will do that, but I don't think it is normal for it to change colors on almost the hole header pipe. So is this normal? Too lean? Too rich? Any advice will help.

are you talking about making your fmf high flow header shiny, if you are steel wool and a can of wd40 will make it chiny after a few minutes of scrubbing

Even if stained that brownish color from the heat? I have tried everything to make it shine. So if I want it to shine I am gonna have to clean it after every ride?

Is it because my pipe is stainless steel(gets hotter than regular steel)that it is changing colors? Is this common on all pipes? Is there any pipes that don't change color from too much heat?
