As I was going up to a big hill the other day at about 10-20km/h I heard the most horrible noise ever. Metal on rock.

I got off my quad, saw that my bumper was MINT and I was REALLY happy for about two seconds, then looked to the side to see that my lower a-arm was MANGLED. By mangled, I mean beyond fixing.

So heres the question, should I go for a cheap aftermarket set of a-arms (This is mainly a trail quad) or should I just pick up one of those overpriced stock ones?

If you say aftermarket, give me the name of the company and possibly some pics and/or prices. Im on a tight budget.

-Please Help, Martin

It doesn't mattter if it is under warrenty or not, they won't replace it. Get on ebay and try to find the aarm you damaged or just buy a whole new set on there. I got a set for like $60 and they were taken off brand new. Plus this way you will have spares and you will have extra bushings.

go on ebay and look for American star racing arms. they have a lifetime warranty, and are only like $350. i race in B class MX and they have been holding up for the whole season.
