When I was doing a donut I looked down and seen a steady dribble of fuel coming from my carb hose. Is this normal. Or a float problem.

Check your overflow screw (the screw on the bottom of the carb) maybe it's turned out a bit.

It's normal for a carb to weep fuel while the carb is at unusual/extreme angles or while under high G loads. Carbs have an overflow hose (different from the float bowl drain hose) that drains off extra fuel when the float is unable to operate normally. Since the float's operation is dependent on gravity and the carb being mostly level, certain manuvers cause the float bowl to continue filling when it normally wouldn't. The carb's overflow hose is it's way of dealing with that.

If the dripping seems excessive and happens frequently then you can play with the float height. But you'll never be able to completely eliminate the dribbling.
