jetting stock setup?

i want my r to run cooler not louder
has any one rejetted with the stock airbox and
exhaust.what size did you wind up using
for main and pilot?

i didnt think jetting made your quad run cooler and quieter?????
it just gives you more or less fuel.
and why would you wanna rejet with stock setup? is it seem lean or rich?

450's especialy 06's are dredfully lean from the factory....I would suggest putting in the next size up or two on the main...around a 125
a lean condition will make it run hot..

They come lean from the factory just to meet EPA standards. Your right , even if your not planning on adding a pipe or high flow filter it would be wise to bump up a jet or two. Yes it runs cooler with a richer jet. Lean motors run hot.
