What would be the best quad for a 7 year old?

How big is the 7 yr old? I take it that your kid has not ridden before?

he's actually my brother. my cousins have 4-wheelers and he has been riding them but he is a beginner. we are wanting to get a reliable one and a good handling one. he doesn't weigh hardly anything. he is skinny as rails(wish i could be like that.lol) and not tall for his age.

thanks for any help

I started my 4 and 6 year old boys on a Kasea 90cc. we were able to keep the 4 yr olds governed down until he got better. my 6 yr old took to it like water and is now wanting to get involved in racing it.

If he plans on racing you would want to check your local rules first. At 7 he may not be able to race a 90cc quad. He may have to start out in the 70cc class. Some brands to look into would include Cobra, DRR, Kasea, Honda, Dinli, Eton, etc... What type fo racing does he plan on doing? MX? XC? TT? Some quads are better for certain types of racing.
