the stock shocks on my 400 seem to be squeaky, how do i make 'em stop??

No, that will hold dust on and make it squeak even more.

Our 250ex dose that too along with my bros 250x.

my 400 is the same way...and stupid me, i sprayed WD-40 on them...didnt help the squeek at all, but now my shocks have a bunch of dust all over them. time for a bath!

spray it into the plastic cover at the top

i did it to mine and they dont squeak anymore

take your shocks off, slip the bushings out, grease the interior and the exterior of the bushings, be sure to spread it well with your fingers, then put your shocks back on, theyll never squeak again.

I would suggest using marine grease also.

yep, aftermarket shocks will do it sometimes also because of the plastic spacers between springs, nothing a little riding wont fix :devil:
