first time racer

I have a 06 YFZ and I'm looking into doing a race for the first time. I'm just curious what mods you would suggest. It's completely stock right now. I know I need a new pipe but is there anything that is absolutely necessary for a first time race. Thanks:)

nerfs, kill switch, ( get nerfs with pro pegs and heel garuds) then numbers, exhaust, TIRES !!!!! then suspention then motor IN THAT ORDER

most track require nerf bars and killswitch. and the usualy protective gear. helmet, goggles, long sleeves, pants, boots, what ever else u wear chest plate, knee pads, kidney belt

yeah get the nerfs and killswitch, then your next investment should be tires.

I would race it relatively stock for a while to decide if you like racing, before you spend a crap load of money on it
