Ok here it is stright foward. Most people will say the the YFZ is better for the track then a 450r. And most freestyle pros use YFZ. But it is up to the rider. Go down to a dealer and sit on them both and maybe even ride them. That is the only way to answer your question. IMO I woulden't go with the LTR because it is new and will have falts to it. YFZ you will get cheaper then a 450r.

Most owners of the Cannondale wouldn't trade it for the world. They aren't easy to find if I'm not mistaking. Just ride what feels most comfortable.

if you have to ask wut 450 to get and you cant make your own mind up, i would get a 400ex. its a great starter quad untill you learn more about the sport. im not tryin to be a smart *** but its the truth:macho

400ex are great quads. They can get you started with racing and such. The only thing worng is that they are way out of date. But since you said you can ride go with a 450.

You will add the 16 pounds when you do suspension upgrades on the other two. So wieght is not an issue. The honda will be lower once the shocks are done. They are all so close you might as well get your girl friend to pick by colour.

Just test them all three out. Pick the one you feel most comfortable on. :o Its as simple as that.:ermm:

I say yfz cause its lower and setup more for mx and also cause my bros whoops on his freinds 450r with pipe and filter and my bros yfz has a pipe and it wasnt even jetted for the pipe lol... i have no idea about the ltr but its got the cutting edge technology and i would like a efi in my 400ex cause i hate jetting lol but yeah man try to test ride each and a cdale sounds kinda cool but i've never seen anybody ride one and i have never been on one . and also i dont like cdales plastics and lights... soo thats my .02

the honda seems to be the most popular freestyle wise right now but let me tell you right now there is nothing like the feel of a built cannondale especially one with a 468 falicon kit ,walsh setup with elka shocks, and a hmf pipe holy god it rides like a dream and the dude i know who races it kicks the sh** out of a ktm520 hybrid all day long

my personal opinion, unbiased, ive rode all three 450s

LTR = hands down best handling stock, slides good, real easy to ride and great for big jumps completly stock

trx 06= great motor "feels" much more powerful than the other two easily, has great ergonomics and is very comfy, needs atleast shock rebuilds to get the most out of it (but is a whole new bike and out handles the susuki wiht arms and axle and well setup shocks)

yfz 06= doesnt "feel" like it has the power of the honda but stays wheel to wheel the whole way its jsut kinda decieving with the power works better on flater smoother tracks because the front doesnt have much rake

and if you are low on cash is the reason to get a 400 ive got less than $5200 in mine right now and its setup for mx and fmx and is ridden HARD every week and it doesnt ever leave me hanging plus parts are getting cheap for them here is mine and as you can see i dont have any trouble beating the 450s:p besides its 75% rider atleast anyways so get which ever one you like the most, all the 450s are great quads jsut some a lil better setup stock than others
