i have an 06 450r and i just put a sparks full exhaust on it and am goin to jet it and wondering i i should jet it with the air box lid off. what u guys think? will it help any

Depends if you ride in a muddy/dusty terrain, if you have an aftermarket air filter than the company probably makes an outwear for the filter, I suggest that you get the outwear for the aftermarket and jet with no airbox lid.

The only thing you have to worry about when not running a lid, is the fact that you have to clean your filter more often.

Also, the more air you have running through your engine, the more power it is going to make - if it is jetted properly.

yea i ride in alot of mud and pretty dusty so i was figuring i would have to clean it alot but i will def get outerwears
