I just got my motor back together and when I staerted it, it was TICKING real loud. I assume the timing is correct as it fired right up, but what is the ticking? I rechecked the valve clearances and they seemed to be ok. I put in a new cam and a 11:1 piston. I mixed the gas 50/50 with 93 and 110 octane. One thing I did notice was the exhaust valve adjuster screws were not turned in the same when they were adjusted for the same clearance. One had like 1 thread showing and the other had like 4 threads showing. Is this normal? What is my ticking?
