what are the goods and bads of a 14t???????? what will it help with and is it really worth it?

Dude if you race Mx the 14t is a must. I have one and its great. More torque. But the only con about the 14t is that yo lose a lil bit of Top End.

he has a 300ex stock they come 13 you will lose some low end power but you will gain top speed the higher you go with the front sproket the faster you will go the lower # of teeth u go on the back sproket the faster you go

Yeah i was just wondering if when your racing use the 14 tooth, and then when your out trail riding with your buddies put the old one back one so you can have more on the top end.

On a 300 the 14T is a must, the 300 comes very low geared. On the 400 the 15 is just right. For some mx races the 14T is good and on wide open tracks the 16 is needed.
The sprokets for the 300 will be cheaper than for the 400, try it and you will like the 14T on the 300. It will give you more top end and you will not lose any low end. You will be able to use or stay is 1st gear more and not have to shift as much.
