fastest stock 80/90 mini??

what i sht e fastest stock 80 o r90 mini quad. does anyone know or have any info on how fast preds, compare to the trx 90? ect.

your comparing two stroke (pred) to four stroke (honda), apples to oranges. a stock 2 stroke 90 will outrun a stock 4 stroke 90.

incorrect, stock for stock a TRX90 will actually out run a stock predator.

My thought is that you loose that much power thourgh the cvt trans.

In my book which is faster out of the box means nothing! You may ask which is the best quad out of the box. And that hands down is the Honda. This quad is built like a tank and is very fast. I was never a Honda man till we got the 06 trx 90, and now were Honda all the way. True it may take more to make it as fast as a moded 90 2 smoke but with the right parts and a good mechanic it will smoke many 2 smokes. And it will be cheaper to keep running in the long run. Believe me I own both. And it takes a pile of money to keep his race quad which is a 2 smoke running for the entire season.

You might not be looking for 1 to race but still, depedability is a must in any mini! And you WILL NOT beat the Honda.But I will say his Arctic Cat 2 smoke rates right up there with it for a 2 smoke.

The Honda is the most dependable,and pretty fast too.My daughter pulled the holeshot in the second moto of the 90 production Sr. class last weekend at the Walnut Ill. national,on her honda.By the way it's for sale.

you guys are sick, never has there been a trx 90 beat my sons aasco pro 90 in stock form not even bobs racing trx that my son wooped on this weekend and i think the aasco pro 90s arnt that great of quad , oooo and by the way there was four jb - hetrick quad in race and my sons aasco was second into the first corner,no porting and a 24 carb 20-30 gears and was outdoor,

Yea I've seen some of those aasco pro's and the pro sharks at the GNCC's. They got smoked by a 7yr old on a 70 cc mini that I built. They don't like the woods where real mini's fly. They really like the taste of mud and water.:eek2:

Anxious to hear this one myself ;) Maybe you did woop up on a "Bob's" racing quad, but try woopin' up on a "RobbsRacing" quad :rolleyes: I've seen one of Rob's fully built 125's run and unless it's got a very rookie rider, a mildly done up 90 won't hang period.

i didnt start this thread, livin4real you said it , a built to the max,125 yes can beat a mild built 90 two stroke, but your all saying that the trx90s are faster than the two strokers, thats why they get to be 125s in the 90 class and 450s in the 250 class,apples to apples the two strokes will win.... and to rob im sorry , you make a killer quad, the kid riding it said it came from the east coast and it looks just like the one on your site, maybe the kid just needs more seat time. every race we go to there are trx90s but they never win , dont know why they just dont, and about the aasco it is what it is, we're making the best of it for now till he gets somthing else, the aasco has never broke during a race but has broke many times in practice.

I think the original comparison was a stock pred to a stock trx 90. I myself assumed as you saw that the pred would beat the trx forgetting that our kasea comes without a rev limiter unlike the pred and that's what I was basing my assumption off of.

Fact is stock trx90 will out run a stock predator and I would assume it will outrun all other cvt 90 auto quads since they are all built by eton.


We have done this exact race many times with kids and dads riding each machine and the TRX wins everytime.

Yes stock does matter to us people that don't race 20-30 weekends per year. We want to spend our money on the best bang for the buck. Most people don't race seriously we just ride for sport but when we do race we want our quads in front just like everyone else.

SMC builds Kasea, they're not all built by the same company. Also the kasea comes factory with a chambered exhaust and no rev limiter. Our 05' when stock would outrun our neighbors stock 04' trx until the pink wire was cut but that was after running quite a distance.
