a few 300ex questions

i want to start making my 300ex a motocross type bike and want some advice on mods. i no every one has their opinion but i want to hear some of them.
here is the stuff i have already decided on:

hmf slip on w/ wb header
itp tires all around
maier custom plastics
wb power up kit
outerwear air box cover
itp wheels
renthal sprockets and chain
big gun rev box
dg skids
dg bumper
dg grab bar

i was lookin for advice bout suspension, engine mods, and stuff like that.

if you plan on racing nationals dont go over a .080 piston if not go as big as 350 if ya want to. get ya a cam from web cams, some oversized valves and a 400ex carb if low budget or eldelbrock carb if you have some money. suspension get some burgard +3 a-arms, tripple rate elka shocks and the relocator bracket. and a lsr +4 axle and you should be good to go
