the easiest thing to do is get a big bore 250R pipe and cut the head pipe a bit. takes about 2 cuts a bit of bending then rewelding..

My brother used a pipe built for a 500 motor in a 250r frame. He stared with the 400ex frame to but i know he had to do some major mods to get it to fit. Quad was the sickest thing i ever rode but it just shook it self apart. I try and ask him where he got the pipe from.

ok thanx i will probly get my motor counter balenced at a rod/motor shop i heard it costs about 400.00 but then the motor will not shake anywere as bad as it did. and i will probley go with the 250R pipe and cut and weld. thanx.

the name of the place is atv racing there web sight is www.atvracing1.com Ran good with the pipe. Hopefuly the counter balance works out for you cause if you take care of that it will be one sick quad. Its scarry fast

I didn't know you could counterbalance a CR500. I wonder how they do that.

Lol don't know either

I think he only meant having the crank/rod balanced

I was imagining TRX250R cases and/or crank being modded with CR500 parts to create a hybrid type engine.

Would it be possible to just stregthen a trx bottom end and fit a CR500 cylinder on it? Seems like somebody must have tried this at some point...

never heard of a 500 jug. I know ive seen 400 pilot jugs. anything could be posible with a good machinest and welder

mac racing did a cr500 jug on a 250R bottom end.

another comon 400 is the polanda, which is a scrambler cylender mated to an R bottom end.

then you have the after market
procross goes to about 370cc

PSI genesis makes a 425 kit

but for the ultimate in badassness you HAVE GOT to check out http://saberracing.com/
