Washer Between Drive Faces?

I found a washer on the crankshaft between the primary drive faces.

This doesn't match anything I've seen on micro fische and in manuals. Any opinions? Jack?

Yep, that's supposed to be there. :)

The 88's and possibly the 89's had a longer bushing and no washer.
