yfz vs 450r

the 05's were about even on top but the yfz excellerates a little quicker, and the 06 450r is faster than the 06 yfz450.

04trx vs 04yfz the yfz is a tad faster, about 1/2 bilke length per gear. But the yfz has barlye any torque and when riding on the track there is alot more shifting required.

I can do burnouts up into 4th gear on my trx. He can barley grab 3rd on his yfz.

I couldn't have said it any better, that is what decides how well it will perform, how good the rider is. there both good, but in dirtwheels, the yfz had better suspension by far.

Im not as bitter as that post sounded, after I read it again it may have been a litte extreme, (still funny to me though)

dirtwheels is like a politician, who ever pays them the most gets the "buy this one, its the best"

well im sayin if we are keeping them stock id go yfz, yfz arent near as bad as yall seem to be putting it, its actually just as nice as a 450r, its all preference and what amount of money you have to put in them, but dont get me wrong id own any of the 450's and be happy period.

honda seems to have a sweet balance point on all their quads,
I can get on my 450r, my friends 400ex, or my wifes 250ex and ride a wheelie all the way across the field.
it took me like 30 min. to get the yfz to hold and I still had to pump the gas and brake. (the honda's all have that sweet spot where you can just hold 3/4 throttle and keep it there until you want to shift)


there is no doubt about the power that 450r puts out.
